The blog will continue with periodic updates, news, and information essential to the business community. The organization voted on Thursday, February 5, 2009 to incorporate and to seek non-profit status with the Internal Revenue Service. This is a major step in positioning the group as a leader in the community. The group met in the Oakboro Music Hall now under the management of Boomers Cafe housed in the historic Fountain Grill Building.
